The British GT Championship is the UK’s most prestigious series, featuring mouth-watering racing cars including Aston Martins, Ferraris, Porsches, Ascaris, Dodges, Marcos, Moslers, and Lotuses, plus other exotic supercar machinery. Each of these events will feature either one 2-hour race, or two 1-hour races for the headlining British GT series.

Aston Martin has begun its return to international motor sport, spearheaded by the DBR9 family of cars an entirely new car based on the road-going DB9. A new division - Aston Martin Racing (AMR) - has been created as a partnership with Prodrive. The DBRS9’s bonded-aluminium chassis is shared with the racing car, whilst the race engine uses the same cylinder block and head in its 6-litre V12 unit, but with modifications it will produce around 550 bhp (in DBRS9 GT3 trim).
