The burgeoning EERC-run Production S1 series is now established as the country's premier endurance production sports/saloon car racing series. It consists of events of between 1½ and 4 hours at the major UK circuits and at Spa-Francorchamps, as well as the new-for-2005 Silverstone 24 Hours event. The Production S1 series is split into three classes, those being for race-developed sports/saloon cars over 2-litre and under 2-litre, and more road car-based sports/saloon cars.

Having enjoyed much success in previous year's with our Barwell-built Honda Civic Type R, this car has been sold and we have built a brand new 260bhp Honda Integra Type R for the 2006 Production S1 programme. This car has been built from scratch by Barwell Motorsport, and the 2-litre V-Tec Honda engine is a Barwell built and tuned unit. It has been built specifically as an endurance racing car, and is our 'house' flagship entry in the Britcar Production S1 series.
