Barwell notched up four wins out of 8 BGT races at Spa, having taken victory in Race 1 with the Demon Tweeks-backed Lamborghini Huracan of Jon Minshaw and Phil Keen. This duo continue to lead the Drivers’ Championship, bagging 33 points over the weekend to widen their advantage to 12 points over Team Parker Racing's Seb Morris and Rick Parfitt Jr. The sister GardX-liveried Huracan GT3 of Liam Griffin/Sam Tordoff claimed points for sixth in race one to keep them in the championship hunt, where they are lying fifth with two races remaining. We were running a third car at Spa, for our Blancpain Endurance Cup race-winners, Adrian Amstutz and Patrick Kujala, which featured in the fight for a podium finish in race one before a puncture cruelly robbed them of a strong finish with just one lap to go. Barwell Motorsport continues to lead the Teams’ Championship standings, with the penultimate round at Brands Hatch’s GP track coming up on August 5-6.
